F/S Eliminations
The Factory Stock ( F/S ) ended up with only six vehicles running. They were matched up in an elimination ladder.
The First Round had Pete Simpson going against Tim Clary, Bob Karakashian getting a "bye", Dave Dudek Sr. vs. Casey Marks, and Jim Johnston also getting a "bye" run. Round 2 found Pete's COPO ZL-1 vs. Bob's 440-6 Super Bee, and Dave Dudek Sr. Hemi GTX matched up with Jim Johnston's SS396 Nova.
The Final Round had Pete Simpson's 12.18 @ 110.6 mph besting Jim Johnston's SS396 running a 12.38 @ 113.3! Once again, we had two Chevies driven by Canadians in the final round!!! Congrats to Pete for taking the F/S "Quick 6" Title, two races in a row!!!!!
