Lane is a relative newcomer to F.A.S.T. racing, with his debut at the 2005 Lebanon Valley F.A.S.T. race. Lane is big into Fords and he really know's how to make them run. He has owned the White Torino Cobra with the 429 Super Cobra-Jet engine for about 4 years. He had to return the car to stock condition after it was used in an earlier life as a drag car. The car came originally with the Ford Drag-Pak which included 3.91 rear gears, forged pistons, Holley carb and engine oil cooler all direct from Ford.
Lane's Torino was the first F.A.S.T. Ford to run in the 11's, and has run an official (F.A.S.T. Teched Event) best ET of 11.32 @ 123 MPH at the 2006 Englishtown F.A.S.T. race. At his home track Lane has run a blistering 11.31 @ 127 MPH!, even though he was breaking the tires loose after the 60 ft mark. Look for big things to come from this awesome Super Cobra-Jet.
(Car weight of 3990 lb's + 127 MPH) = Big Horse Power!!
