2005 FALL FINAL - F.A.S.T. RACE
The 2005 F.A.S.T. season was wrapped up in the cool northeast air at Englishtowns/ Old Bridgre Raceway Park in Oldbridge New Jersey. The F.A.S.T. class was held in conjunction with Bill Gonzo's Factory Appearing Drag Race. The weather was perfect encouraging many regional F.A.S.T. racers to make their first event.
Wayne Nelson from Minnesota with his 1969 Corvette 427, L88, automatic car, surprized everyone in attendence, when he ran an incredable 10.59. Racing on G-70-15 bias ply reproduction street tires, Wayne managed a mind-numbing 1.61 60 ft time!
